Webserver Configuration for Network I/O Controller

Ethernet network I/O controller product has its own web server built in. The web server allows you to easily configure the device so that it can be to deployed to your own IT network.

The web server can be accessed via a web browser. You simply need to power up the network I/O controller and connect the device to your network via an Ethernet cable. Using a computer that is also connected to the network, open up a web browser to configure the device’s network settings.

You can also connect the network I/O controller directly to a computer via a normal Ethernet cable. Ensure that your computer is set to an IP address which has the same subnet as the I/O controller device.

Webserver Home Page

  • Open up your favourite internet web browser, and key in the IP address of the Ethernet I/O controller in the URL field. The default IP address of the device is “192.168.1.100“. You can reset the device to the default factory’s settings if you had changed the default IP address.
  • After you hit the <Enter> key, a dialog box may pops up asking for authentication. Click on the <OK> button to proceed.

  • The first page on the web server is a device status page. This page present information about this network device. The following information will be displayed on this page,
    • Firmware Version
    • MAC Address of this device
    • DHCP HostName
    • IP Address
    • Default Gateway
    • DNS Server

  • On the home page, there is also a link which leads you to the online user guide here. (See the red arrow sign on the screenshot)

  • To the left of the home page, you will see a menu list with the following pages for configuring network related settings.
